NOTES:
  • During World War II, the British antisubmarine trawler the H.M.S. Bedfordshire was assigned to the U.S. Navy. On May 11, 1942, the Bedfordshire was torpedoed by a German submarine off the North Carolina coast and the entire crew was lost. The bodies of four of the crew members were recovered and buried at this grave site.
  • This is the complete cemetery as of August 20, 2003.
