Leading Aircraftman Rosalky has the Star Of David on his headstone.  Within the Star there are some Hebrew Letters.  A Rabbi has told me the following:

“It is true that generally there is no inscription in the Star of David, however virtually all headstones of the Jewish faith will include the five Hebrew letters as does Mr Rosalky.  Each of the five letters are in fact the first letter of five Hebrew words in Hebrew letters (when joined with the rest of the letters to form a complete word) read, tehei nishmoso tzror bitzror hachaim, which translates to mean “may his soul be bound with the eternal life”.  Meaning may the soul of the departed be once again joined with God”.  The Rabbi’s help was very much appreciated.
