Welcome to my genealogy web site! I want to thank my mother, who has been working on our family history for years, unbeknownst to me...as well as my sister, Abbie Slaman and my cousin, Lori Naughton who I share information with. I also must thank both of my grandmothers who are now deceased, who both had a love of family history and genealogy and passed their research on for us to pick up where they left off. A great big thanks to my newfound cousins who have so willingly shared their research with me: Doug MacDonald, Vicki Nolin, Rouen "Dunk" Duncan, Roberta Laughler, Cary Davis George, Judy Tew, Karen Layton, Patricia Williams, Debby Harper, Wayne Carroll, William Prokasy, Sara Courtney, Jane Curci, Fran Dodds and Julie Harris! To those of you whose names I have forgotten - I'm sorry and thank you also! It's been rather overwhelming these last few months trying to organize all the information I've received Please look over my research and feel free to send me any additions or corrections! Our family tree is growing by leaps and bounds! I'd especially like to include any pictures of family members or articles on anyone in the family that you might have tucked away in a box somewhere. Scan it and send it to me! Not sure how to view my pages? It's fairly simple. Click on a person's name to go to their "web card." Every web card is set up with the father on the left, mother on the right, children's buttons listed at the bottom and parents' buttons at the top. Clicking on a button brings up that person's family web card with their children at the bottom and parents at the top. If you want to see more detailed information on someone, find their family web card where they are listed in the middle of the card and click on their name. This brings up a personal sheet on that person including any notes I might have as well as my sources. If you see a small camera icon on someone's web page that means there are pictures for that person. Just click on the camera to view them.
Updates 4/2/04 - Plenty of updates, mostly corrections - corrected my SEAVEY line, which had some incorrect data, added plenty of pictures this time around! 2/12/02 - Added close to 100 pictures and updated the Photo Album area. So many updates to my files in the last 6 months and FINALLY got the web site updated as well! Better late than never! Also added Paypal information. 11/24/01 - Starting to add photos! My mother gave me several photo albums that belonged to various family members and I will be adding them to the web site as photo albums in the next few weeks. Many of the people in the pictures we were able to identify but there are many more we just can't figure out! We need your help! If you see anyone you know, please make sure I have their name listed. I would love to figure out who everyone is! Keep watching for more photo updates! 6/18/01 - Really got brutal and trimmed my family tree! I went through my files and deleted all the people who were so distantly related that I couldn't even figure out how we were related in the first place! Reduced the data base from over 42 thousand names to just under 20 thousand. Added Barton, Hendon, Carroll, Peek and Gibbs lines. Added quite a few pictures! If you see a little camera on someone's web card, click on it! It means there are pictures to be seen. 2/19/01 - Added Hendon, Barton, Walker, Nolin lines - lots of updates! Data base now over 42 thousand names. Added Family History Reports for Cardwell, Gibbs, Goetschius, Higginbottom, Sirois and Walker. 9/6/00 - Added Goetchius line and a counter 8/23/00 - Added the complete family fire - over twenty-six thousand names; moved the entire web site to Rootsweb since they offer free, unlimited space! 7/27/00 - Added more names - over ten thousand included now! 7/24/00 - Increased data base by approximately 7500 names 7/22/00 - Added Flaugh and LaPlante Family History Reports 7/4/00 - Added Person Sheets, Additions to Helmbrecht Family, Web Media Pages |
