Last Will and Testament of Jean Gaiques Mathiot

In the name of God, Amen – I, Jean Gaiques Mathiot, of the town of Butteville, in the county of Marion and the State of Oregon, of the age of 72 years, and being of Sound mind and memory, do make, publish and declare, this my last will and testament, in Manner following – that is to say,

I give and devise and bequeathe all of my real Estate, of every name and nature Whatsoever, and also all of my Personal Property, Goods and Chattles, of what nature or Kind, soever to my wife Catherine Mathiot, Whom I hereby appoint Sole Executrix of this my last will and testament – hereby revoking all former wills by me made

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my and and seal, this tenth day of July, A. D. one thousand Eight hundred and Seventyfive – (The words "devise and" – inserted before Signing.)
