I was born in Middlesbrough but throughout almost all my childhood I lived in Sutton, Bedfordshire.
My journey searching for my ancestors through the male line of Lawrence has taken me to farms in Stanley Pontlarge and Prescott in Gloucestershire, back to the early 1700's. My father was however, born in Manchester. My maternal line of Bellerby/Richmond, descend from North Yorkshire.
My husband was born in Norwich where his grandfather Walter, settled in 1900. Walter was born in London and came from a family of travelling showmen who travelled between Cornwall and Norfolk.
