Our progress-to-date:

• We're looking to make contact with others who may be descendents of Amos Layhue and/or Elizabeth Nelson in order to fill in the gaps in the descendent information.

• We're utilizing the online images of the US Federal Census to try to locate the parents of Amos Layhue (born circa 1864) or Elizabeth Nelson (born circa 1876). Last known residence was Fayette Co. PA. According to the 1910 Census, they both listed their parents as being born in PA.
