This family are the descendants of Isham LEWIS born 1800 in North Carolina and migrated and died in 1879 Mulberry township, Johnson County, Arkansas. He married Sarah Ann BOEN daughter of William Monroe BOEN and Narcissa Jane FARMER. Sarah BOEN had been married previously to Joshua WHARTON and widowed in the early 1860's and was left with four children. Isham Lewis was her second marriage and together they had five sons. Sarah Ann BOEN WHARTON LEWIS was born March 13, 1835 in Tennesee and she died July 13, 1904. She is buried in Oark Cemetery, Johnson County, Arkansas.
This family has grown in great magnitude and spread throughout the USA. We hope that this information is shared with family members. I do not wish to take credit for the construction of this page.
