Evelyn "Tiger" McCarty      1996,   The News Star, Ouachita Parish, LA

Evelyn "Tiger" Hooter Redfearn McCarty, age 65, died Wednesday, May 22, 1996 at her home in West Monroe, from a sudden illness. Mrs. McCarty was preceded in death by two sons: Franklin Leo Redfearn, Jr and Ronald Richard Redfearn.

The survivors include her children, Carolyn Ann Redfearn and Jerry Gordon Redfearn. Her sisters, Elva Katherine Hooter Hasley, Terri Melba Jean Hooter Brister Sharbono, Lessie Elaine Hooter Arrowood, 17 grandchildren and 10 g grandchildren, numerous neices and nephews.

Services were held at 2 PM, Friday, May 24, 1996 at Kilpatrick's Funeral Home Chapel in West Monroe with Rev Robert Leonhardt officiating. Burial was as St Paschal's Cemetery (Catholic Section of the Hasley Cemetery), West Monroe, LA.

Pallbearers included Billy Glenn Nivens, Jamie Nivens, Jerry Nivens, Ronnie Redfearn, Jr, Kenneth Martin, Michael Brister and several honorary pallbearers.

Mrs. Nellie Elizabeth Hooter Price      August 2, 1981,   The News Star, Ouachita Parish, LA

Services for Mrs. Nellie Price, 45, of Route 9, West Monroe, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe with the Rev Lamar Woodham officiating. Burial will be in Bosco Cemetery.

Mrs. Price died Saturday in her residence after a short illness.

Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Lessie Lowrey Hooter Anding Moody of West Monroe; three daughters, Mrs Wanda Laurent of Monroe, Bonnie Jean Welch of Tallulah and Sherri Fairchild of Starksville, Miss.; two sons, Nathan Bennett Carraway of West Monroe and Tommy Wayne Fairchild of Houston; four sisters, Mrs Evelyn McCarty, Mrs. Katherine Hasley, Mrs Terri Sharbono and Mrs Elaine Arrowood, all of West Monroe; and seven grandchildren.

Hubert Hooter      October 26, 1999 Jonesville, LA

Services for Hubert Hooter will be at 2 PM today in Mayna Church of God with the Revs. Lloyd Trisler and Marion Trisler, Jr officiating. Burial will be in Heard Cemetery under direction of Young's Funeral Home.

Mr Hooter, 64, of Pineville, died Tuesday, October 26, 1999 in Jonesville.

He was a member of Mayna Church of God and a longtime resident of Pinecrest Development Center in Pineville. He worked as a maintenance helper.

Survivors include one sister, Peggy Hooter Trisler of Jonesville.

Burial in Heart Cemetery; aged 64, of Pineville died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 1999, in Jonesville; longtime resident of Pinecrest Development Center in Pineville. Survivors: sister, Peggy Hooter Trisler of Jonesville.

PINEVILLE - Hubert Hooter, a maintenance helper, died Tuesday. The funeral is 2 p.m. today at Mayna Church of God, Jonesville. Burial is at Heard Cemetery, Manifest, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home, Jonesville.


Anna Lea Hooter Crawford     Monday, 13 May 1996,   Alexandria Town Talk     Rapides Parish, LA

Anna Lea Hooter Crawford, age 70, died 11 May 1996 as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was a resident of Monroe, La. and also a sales clerk.

Survivors include her Mother, Mrs. Bessie Hooter of Jonesville, La.; 2 Daughters: [not named] Sisters: Mrs. Jimmie Heygood & Mrs. Dell Pitmon, both of Harrisonburg, La. 3 Grandchildren; 4 Great-Grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 am. Tuesday in the chapel of Riser & Son in Monroe, La. with Rev. Wesley Pitmon officiating.

Burial arrangements are under the direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Monroe, La. Interment will be in the Old Catahoula Cemetery.

TALLULAH-Sarah E. Hooter, a homemaker, died Friday. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Parkview Baptist Church, Tallulah. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home chapel, Tallulah. Burial will be at Faith Memorial Park Cemetery, Delhi.

Vivian L Hooter, age 88      May 5, 2000,     Alexandria Town Talk     Rapides Parish, LA

Services in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church; burial in Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville; aged 88, of Alexandria died Wednesday, May 3, 2000; member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church for 50 years; retired from Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Alexandria, after 40 years of service.

Survivors: son, Ward C. Hooter II of Alexandria; daughter, Patricia Cruse of Baton Rouge; sister, Jeanette Ashley of Alexandria; 5 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
