He died on December 29, 1986 from a short illness. He is survived by his wife, Reatha Stucky Nordan, two daughters, Laura Boren of Odessa and Emma Berry of Gatesville, TX. Also two sons, Richard Nordan and James Nordan of West Monroe, LA. He was 59.
