Saturday morning memorial service

The Normans met on Saturday morning to honor members of our family who departed this life since our last reunion. The memorial service and business meeting was held at the historic Goshen Baptist Church near Lincolnton, Georgia. Many Normans were original members of this church and their descendants still attend today. Goshen Baptist Church is truly the "little church in the wildwood."  Many Norman descendants are buried in the church graveyard. Dr. Andy Norman was the speaker and gave an inspiring talk about his life as a medical missionary in Africa.
