The Norman Family Reunion

Mark your calendar and make plans to be in Lincolnton the first weekend in August, 2009. Please bring your old photos and documents to share with family. The Cullars Inn in Lincolnton will reserve rooms for the Norman family members. Call early to reserve your room. The phone number is 706.359.6161.

Registration and the "Kith and Kin Get-together will be Friday evening at 6:00pm. Saturday will be a full day with our Memorial Service for those loved ones who have passed away during the past two years. The service will be held at Goshen Baptist Church at 10:00 am. There will be a cemetery tour of all of the known Norman burial places on Saturday afternoon. The most special one is the burial place of William Norman, our first ancestor in Lincoln County. Saturday night at 6:00 pm, we will have our banquet at the Lincoln Center. The menu will be Bar-B-Que and all the trimmings. Those who stay over Sunday are invited to meet at the Home Cafe for breakfast and to attend the church services of your choice.

If you have a loved one who passed away since August 2007 and wish them to be included in the Memorial Service, please send the information to Liz Nash at lznash@bellsouth.net.

Friday Kith and Kin: Everyone is asked to bring finger food. We know our Normans are good cooks and good eaters. If you can't bring a dish, don't worry. We always have more than enough.

Saturday Banquet: The menu will be Bar-B-Q, hash and rice, cole slaw and tea. There will be chicken fingers for those who prefer.
