There seems to be a discrepancy regarding the place of death of William Carvell. Several family researchers have placed his death in Andersonville Prison, Georgia, while document I have in file from Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, The Adjutant General's Office, Harrisburg dated January 27, 1932, places his death at Florence, South Carolina. I obtained this document from Snyder County Historical Society.

Regardless, his death was connected to his Civil War service.

Information on this line obtained from Snyder County Historical Society and Richfield Historical Society.
Information on the Reichenbach line obtained from a descendent of this line
