Obituary of William Francis Sherman, Jr.

My father, William Francis Sherman, Jr., died September 18, 1990 from complications attributed to an aeortic anuerysm. The following obituary was taken from the Fallbrook Enterprise, Fallbrook, California. I do not know the date of the article, since it is a copy that was sent to me.

William F. "Bill" Sherman, Jr., 75, died in Silver Springs, Md., Sept. 18. He was born in Washington, D.C., Sept. 4, 1915. He had been a resident of Fallbrook for the past 15 years.
Private family services were held in Fallbrook Saturday, Sept. 22.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Catherine "Cay" Sherman; one son, William Sherman IV, of San Clemente, two daughters, Linda Sherman Stienstra of Tehachapi, and Priscilla Etherington of Victorville; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Before retirement, he was employed by the U.S. Civil Service as an Air Force contracting officer at Norton AFB, San Bernardino, which took him to Hawaii, the Philippines and Guam. He resided in Riverside from 1956 until he retired in 1978, at which time he moved permanently to Fallbrook.
He was a member of Kileaua Lodge, F&AM, Hilo, Hawaii; Scottish Rite and 32nd Degree Mason, Aloha Temple, Honolulu, Hawaii; BPOE Elks Lodge, Escondido; Fallbrook Music Society and was a patron of Ashland Shakespeare Festival, Ore.
