These three accounts of Harrisburg marriages were found in the files at Dauphin County Historical Society. They were in a file referred to as Ingrams Obituaries and Marriages. The first account refers to my great-grandparents, the next one to my great-great-grandmother's niece whose marriage ended in a divorce, and the third one to my great-grandfather's sister.

Marriages of Well Known Young People
in This City.

Neiss-Carvell.

The Fourth Street Church of God was filled yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock to witness the nuptuals of Mrs. Edwin A. Niess, now employed as clerk in the War Department, Washington, D.C., and Miss Carrie V. Carvell, daughter of Rev. J.M. Carvell, who officiated. The bride was attired in a blue dress. After the ceremony was performed, the newly married couple were warmly congratulated and then left at 2 o'clock for Washington where they will go to housekeeping on I street. The bride was the recipient of many useful presents.

KEEFER-AUXER

Marriage of an Estimable Young Couple
Last Evening.

The many friends of Miss Mary E. Auxer, the organist of the Second Reformed church, will be pleased to learn of her marriage last evening to Mr. John B. Keefer, a prominent young dentist of Altoona. This happy event took place at the residence of the bride's mother, No. 407 Boas street, the ceremony being performed by Rev. H.D. Lehman, of Middletown, a cousin of the bride. Mr. Edwin A. Niess was the best man and Miss Sadie R. Lehman, the bridesmaid. The Mendelssohn wedding march was played by Miss Katie A. Niess. Only the immediate relatives and friends of the bride and groom were present.
Mr. and Mrs. Keefer left on an early train this morning for Altoona, where they will make their future home, taking with them the good wishes of their host of friends.

WEDDING BELLS

Three Marriages Consumated Within the
Last Forty-Eight Hours.

Rev. H.D. Lehman, pastor of the U.B. church at Royalton, united in marriage yesterday, at 12 o'clock, Mr. Louis J. Houseal and Miss Katie Niess. The ceremony took place at the residence of the brides parents No. 117 Dock street. A large number of guests were present to witness the interesting even. Don Cameron Houseal brother of the groom officiated as groomsman and Miss Sadie Lehman of North Vineland, N.J., as bridesmaid. The bried was arrayed in cream albatross with a boquet of bride's roses. Miss Viola Demning preformed Mendlessohn wedding march. The bride has (sic) the recipient of many beautiful presents. After the wedding dinner the happy paid left for Philadelphia on a wedding tour.
