 1.  Anne Forgeron, died of childbirth Feb. 28, 1866 at the age of 32 years.  Married.  The name of Paul Geroir is on this record without explanation. 

(More than likely this person is Anne, Jeanette, Jeanne Girroir, wife of Vital Forgeron who gave birth to a daughter, 21 Feb 1866.  The Paul Girroir mentioned on this record may have been her father.  However he was deceased at this time.)

 

 2.  Galitan Boutin, age 53, died July 1, 66 in Pictou.  Brought back to Arichat.  Died of natural causes.

(Can this be the son of Joseph Boutin and Sophie Fougere?)

 

3.       3. Alexander Boutin, age 14 years, died July 11/66, s/o Joseph Boutin.  Died of natural causes

 

 4.   Simon Hubert Bonais, age not shown, died July 12/66, s/o William Bonais.  Died of natural causes

(Can this be the son of William Benoit & Victoire Samson, b. 25 Dec 1965)

 

 5.  Harriet Chevaux, age 22, died April 16/65.  J. Brousard.  Who he?  Father, husband..,....Don't know and it doesn't say.

 

 6.  Sophia Gallant, age 69, died July 22/66, died of natural causes. I remember that her place of birth is shown as Sydney, N.S.  Checked on that one because I had not heard of the Gallant name in West Arichat before.

 

 7.  Henry DeCoste, age 60 years, died Aug. 9/66.  Cause of death:  Rupture

(Can this be Honore Coste, husband of Barbe Roy?)

 

 8.  Lawrence Edward Marchand, age one month, died Aug. 18/66.  Father Theo. Marchand.

 

 9.  Elizabeth Picard, age 10 months, died Aug. 25/66, d/o Simon Picard and Margaret Girroir.

 

10.  Margaret Ann Boudrot, age 2 months, died Oct. 7/66, d/o C. Boudrot

(Can this possibly be 2 Oct 1866, Mary LeBlanc, d/o ______LeBlanc and Catherine Boudrot? Might the birth and death record suggest she was the illegitimate d/of Catherine Boudrot?)

 

11.  John Henry David, age 18 months, died Oct. 10/66, s/o John M. David and Seraphine Samson

 

12.  Mary ?, age 10, died Oct. 8/66.  A.T?   (Name?, father?, ).

 

13.  Julie Chasson (Chaisson) age 43, Dec. 22/66 of consumption
