On the 29th ult at the home of her father Robert VILLIERS HYDE Esq of His Majesty's Customs Port Hull Sophia Susanne BURLEIGH, his second daughter aged 20 yers. Her classical knowledge made her respected amongst literati of her age. She was subscriber to most of the annual periodicals and was honoured by a social intimacy with some of the first female literary characters of the present era. Although so young her heart was was full of pure benevolence and had the blossom of her intellectual tree maturated into fruit , it would undoubtedly have ranked her amidst the choicest specimins of natural talent and personal accomplishment (there is more to this if anyone researching this family are interested)
