1860 Census Index
| This is an index of Head of Households names and their
ages. When getting this index ready to be uploaded I accidentally deleted the page numbers and am working on getting them back up. Please be patient. If you find your ancestor on the list and would like a look-up, I will for a short time do the look-ups for you.. I will only do look-ups for specific names, I will not respond to emails requesting look-ups for all of a certain surname and please limit the look-ups to 1 or 2 people. *I have tried to leave the spelling just as it was on the actual census page but I am sure there will be a few errors.
Certain letters were hard to distinguish, such as "A" sometimes looks like "O", 'I" sometimes was not dotted and looked like an "E".
I will correct my errors as I come across them or they are brought to my attention, so if you see a spelling error please let me know.
I will only correct the index if the error is from my own transcription, the spelling will be left if that is what the actual census page says.
