Many Larocque across Canada and the United States
are looking for their Larocque ancestry. Those questions are posted below.
If you happen to know the answer of one of these, send an e-mail to me
or directly to the address attached. Thank you.
I have counted 28 marriages between men with the surname LaRocque and women with the surname LeFebvre.
Was the surname of any of these women changed to "BEAN" in Canada or the U.S.? My maternal grandmother grew up
with the name Mary Anne BEAN, but her original family name was LeFEBVRE. Can anyone offer an explanation for this (unusual?) translation?
