SAMUEL LOVE b. 1686 in Maryland

Samuel LOVE was a Maryland planter who was born around 1686. He lived in Charles Co., MD. and died sometime between 1765 and 1772. He married Mary ABBOTT and had at least 7 children.

Some of his children and grandchildren settled in VA (Loudon County and Fairfax County) and TN (Greene, Jefferson, and Davidson Counties).

We believe his family was originally from England, and that his grandfather was a William LOVE who came to Maryland sometime between 1662 and 1665. We have not yet proven those last two facts.
