William Love was an itinerate Harness Maker who traveled a route through Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin. He married Amy Wareham Gilliland in Council Bluffs, Iowa 26 March 1890. Amy remembered a few things about him and related them to Harry Love before 1940. He was thought to be Scots-Irish and his family originally from Virginia abt 1715 but no time line or route is established. There was a story that he had six brothers die in the Spanish American War but that is unconfirmed.
