January 14 Day 1809 - he church met according to order - and proceeded to buiseness as follows - after examination being made in regard to standing of the church all appeard to be in peace and no buiseness came forward the church dismist in order.

February 11 Day 1809 - The church met according to order & proceeded to buiseness as follows after examnation being made in the standing of the church all appeard to be at peace that is presant. A motion made & secontned that thear shul be members appointed to go to Pine Creak church & inform that church, the distress that is taken place between Brother Rubin Short & B Charls Thomas & Sister Thomas & thear consult on meashures to settle the contridiction & Brother Wlm Lee, B Elijah Dehart is appointed by the church & make a return - to this church - a dore then opend to receave members by letter or experance non came forward the church then dismist in order. - John Hall

March 11 Day 1809 - The church met according to order & proceeded to buiseness the two breatheren that was sent to Pine Creek met & made report & were dismist - It is orderd that this church call helps from Three church to wit, Jacks Creek Church, Goblintown Church & Pigg River Church. Brother Hubbard is appointed to give notice Jacks Creek C, Brother Cox has promist give notice Goblintown Ch, John Hall is directed to rite a few lines to Pigg River Church - of the time & place of the churches meating to setling the despute between the two members of this church & B Short of Pine Creak Church - A motion made to appoint members to the next assotiation Brother Hubbord, B Hall, B Tuggle is appointed to attend the next association - and John Hall rite the letter the church then dismist in order. November 4 Day 1808 - Orderd that the proceeding of Pine Creek Church in the tryal of Short & Thomas & wife be enterd on our record & are as follows - First this church with helps from difrent churches proceeded to hear the dispute between Bro Rubin Short & Br Thomas & wife. ? A committey appointed to wit William Howard, Jesse Jones, Stephen Hubbord, Peter Howard, Henrey Tugel, Joel Anderson, Umphrey Smith, Thomas Jones, Stephin Winfrey, Jasper Terry, Henrey Jones, Peter Young, Josiah Terry, Baley Carter, Benjamin Hubbord - Agreed upon as follows We the committey are of the openion that Rubin Short is not guilty of the charge brought against him - and that Charls Thom and wife is guilty of Railery & unscripteral proceding a gainst the said Short. April 8 Day 1809 - Agreable to an appointment made by Pine Creak Church and Smiths River Church we have met at the place appointed with helps from several other churches - In order to settle a contridiction that exist between Rubin Short of Pinecreak Church & Charls Thomas Junr & wife of Smiths River Church & after prare being made we proceeded to buiseness as follows. B Jesse Jones chosen moderator and after hearing the matter fuolly altegated on both sides their was a motion made for a committey to be chosen out of that bodey to withdraw & settle the buiseness which was as follows Jesse Jones, Peter Howard, Stephin Hubbord, Luis Foster, Robert Jomnes, Benjamin Hubbord, Thomas Jones, Peter Yong, B Stepen Winfrey, John Hall, Umphrey Smith, Baley Carter, James Cox, Charls Simmons, Jasper Terrey, Gabriel Dehart - the virdit brought in, is as follows - we of the committey is of the oppinion that Brother Short is gilty of the charges as to the contradiction brot against him by Brother Thomas & Wife. Also we of the committey is of the oppinion that Brother Thomas & wife is gilty of not taken gospel steps with the said Short. John Hall, Clk

May 13 - The Church met according to order & proceed to buiseness as follows It is appointed that John Hall attend Pine Creak church to get a copey of the proceeding of the meating respecting contridiction between Br Short & Charls Thomas & wife - no other buiseness came forward The church dismist in order - John Hall

June 10 Day - The Church met according to order & procead to buisenes as follows - Brother Lee came forward and made report from Pine Creak Church re? Brother Thomas & Wife coming forward to make a recantation for their misconduct in their proceedings with Brother Short - As such B Thomas & Wife came forward and made satisfactery recantation & ware restord to full fellowship - the church then dismist in order - John Hall

July 8th day - The Church met acording to order and proceded to business as follows Bro Jeams Ingrim came forward to the church and gave him self up to the church concerning a certen distress between him and Binj. Mise and wife which was laid over till next meeting. Brother John Hall, Wileam Lee, Elijah Dehart and Stephen Hubbard to attend Pine Creek concerning a certin distress the church then dismist in order. John Hall

August 12 Day - The Church met according to order and proceded to buiseness as follows the members appointed to attend Pine Creak Church made their report & ware dischargd - The reffrence from last meating respecting Brother Ingram & B Mise & wife is now taken up after hearing the matter foolly altegated a motion made for a committee to be chosen out of this bodey to with draw & indeavour to settle the buiseness as such a committey was chosen as follows Brother Jones, B Stephen Hubbard, B Benjamin Hubbard, Br John Conner, B Tugel, B Cox, B Canadey, virdit is as follows We of the committey is of the oppinion that Brother Ingrum is deafely in fault - and we are also of the oppinion that Brother Mise is in fault in giving up to passion & not takeing regular gospel steps with the sd Ingrum - a motion made for helps to attend Jacks Creak Church in order to settle a contriversy their.

Sep 9 Day 1809 - The church met according to order & proceeded to buiseness as follows Brother Johns chosen as moderator. A motion made to chuse members to attend our next association B Canadey, B Thomas, B Tennison is to appointed to attend the next assosiation - and also B Charls Thomas. The business respecting B Mise and wife and Br James Ingrem taken up and talk on and Br Ingrim came forward and acknologment for past conduct and was restord in fellowship. Sister [Susannah or Hannah] Pedegrew granted a letter of dismission. A dore open for experance Sister Sarah K?? Received by letter the church dismiss in order. Jas Dehart

Decemr 9th Day - The church met according to order and proceeded to buiseness - A motion mad by B Tugel that on account of the coldness of the times respecting religion that their shuld be a day set apart for fasting & prare It is appointed that the first Sunday in January be the day for that purpose. The church then dismist in order. - John Hall

Feb 10 Day 1810 - The church met according to order and after prare being made proceded to business as follows - Inquiry being mad respecing the fellowship amongst the members all appears to be at peace no buiseness came forward the church dismist in order. John Hall NB) A motion mad by Brother Tugel respecting the diference between Pine Creak Church and this church the question being put wheather their should be a letter rote from this church to that stateing our distress their appearing a mejoraty in favour of sending the letter - It is orderd that their be a letter rote and B Jones bare the same.

April ?th Day 1810 - The church met according to order & after prare being mad proceeded to buiseness as follows a motion made to appoint members to go to the nex assotiation - Brother Canadey, B No, B Hall is appointed for that purpose - a motion made to no the minds of the church wheather they was willing to petition the nex ? shuld be holden at this [two words cut off copy]
