LOWE in the Pond Creek Regular Baptist Church Minutes

Excerpts from the "MINUTES of the POND CREEK REGULAR BAPTIST CHURCH", A Digest by Clyde Runyon of Belfry, Kentucky.
This work was compiled by Clyde and Copyrighted August 12, 1985. In his introduction, Clyde states "I may copyright this book; if so, the readers are hereby granted the right to copy and publish portions of it for genealogical and historical purposes."

These notes involve the Aaron LOWE born abt. 1774 in Virginia and died 25 Jan 1866, and some of his children. Except for my substitute of and for the ampersand, all spelling and punctuation are exactly as recorded in the minutes.
My personal notes are in [brackets].

August the Friday before the Second Saturday 1855.
"the Pond Creek Church met and attended to there Church
buisiness in place of there Regular time....4ly opend
a Door for the Recepsion of members Recevd N B LOWE by
Experence" ....

"At the house of James A LOWEs on the 2 Monday in August 1855
the Pond Creek Church members met with Brother Wallis and others
for the Recpsin of members and Recevd N B LOWE and Rebecca LOWE and
Aaron LOWE and Sally LOWE by baptism"

June the 2th Saturday 1857.
"4ly motion made and seconded that there be 2 Deacons appointed
in the church and appointed Brother James May and N.B. LOWE, and was
ordained by S. trout and George Pinson on Sabbath 5ly the Lordes Supper
was attended to on the Sabbeth".

March the 2th Saturday 1857.
...."opened the door for the reception of members & received
Ambrose Morris, and John M. Wmson, and Lotty Wmson, by experence
and baptisem"....

July the 2th Saturday 1858.
...4ly opened a door for the reception of members and received
Anna Casady, by baptism, and Liddy LOWE, by experence and baptism".

June the 1st Sabbath 1864.
"at a meeting held by Eld. G. Pinson at James A. Lowes, and after
divine Service opened the door of Pond Creek Church, and received
Jas. A. Lowe, and Mary ann his wife by Exp and baptism."

September the 2th Saturday 1864.
"on Sabbath application was made for a letter of dismission for
brother N.B. Lowe, and granted".
