Nolynn (Nolin/Nolan) Baptist Church Cemetery, LaRue County, Kentucky
(Tonieville map, Section 8-M-45 Carter coordinates) The cemetery as well as the church is located about three and one half miles west of Hodgenville on highway 222. The church dates back to the early 1780's, and the cemetery probably dates back to before 1800. Many well-known pioneers are buried here including Rev. Alexander McDougal, Robert Hodgen, David Thurman, and Squire LaRue. The church is one of the oldest in Kentucky.
(Note: "NOLYNN" is the correct spelling. That's how it appears on the church's marquee, on the LaRue Co. map & in the phone book. It is often misspelled & listed as Nolin, or Nolan. It's an odd spelling since most of the other things around here with Nolin in their name are spelled "Nolin". Thanks to Mr. Mark Thurman of Sonora, KY for this correction AND help with the "*" notes.)

Greenpond Cemetery
Greenpond Cemetery is located one-quarter mile East of Route 100 about 5.5 miles south of Milton and 4.5 miles north of Pearl, Illinois. Greenpond is divided into 3 different sections with the "Old" being the original cemetery where Greenpond Church is located. "NW" is the cemetery located to the northwest of the Church and "FS" is the cemetery on the south side of the road. There is a new section being developed on the southwest side but it is not being used at this time. Most of the items in the "Comment" section indicate the location of each particular grave according to the grid lines for the plots.
