USS RATHBURNE    SHIP PICTURE    MUSTER ROLL    GHOST    DESTROYERS

Welcome to my genealogy page. I have just recently begun my research. Some of my information has been verified, but not all. Most of this comes from my mother's side of the family. There is a small amount of information on my father's side. I have also begun research on my husband's family. This information will be added soon.

I have included a journal written around 1855 by my grandfather's grandfather that was copied in part by my grandfather's uncle, James A. Curtis. There is also an autobiography written by my Great Aunt, Florence Moore-Wilber. Both writings will give you an idea of life during that particular time.

Did your father, husband, grandfather, uncle, or other relative serve on board a naval destroyer during World War II? My father was on the USS Rathburne APD-25 (DD-113). See who served with him and learn more about "Tin Cans".

If you are a relative, or if not, I would like to hear from you. If you have a page or site that you would like to see linked here, just e-mail the information. If you find any broken links or misinformation, please let me know. Also, let me know what you like or don't like about my page. My email is [email protected].
