The names of the above children were culled from the records in the register office in Bedford Qc, the known dates from tomb stones in the area. No records of a burial ,nor stones has been found for Philip's wife so it has to be assumed that she passed away before the family arrived in Canada, the fact that Polly Creller had been given the name Kimmel , allows us us assume that her mother may just have been a Kimmel or ( Cammel ) as that particular family was among those who appear to have emigrate into the St Armand/ Stanbridge area at the same time as the Creller.

| I was very interested to find my g.grandmother Dorcus Creller on your website. You show her leaving Canada in 1865 and marrying Frederick Kingsley in Stephentown NY. I pick her up in the 1870 Postenkill NY census with my g.grandfather Napoleon Gokee. They have 2 children at that time, a 4 yr old Thomas Gokee (my grandfather) and 2 year old Lucius Gokee. I wonder if anyone knows what happened to Frederick Kingsley. If anyone has any information on Dorcus Creller please let me know. Frederick Kingsely may have gone of to fight in the Civil war and never made it back, leaving poor Dorceas a widow so very shortly after her wedding.(There is a Frederick G Kingsley listed as Union Artillery 3rd Regt N Y Light Artillery, and a Frederick M Kingsley listed a Sharpshooter 1 Battalion N Y Sharpshooters)
Most likley the original family name would have perhaps been Gauthier

The 1881 census places this family back in Stanbridge Mississquoi county Quebec, Napoleon was listed as being born in the USA, which may have been where he met up with Dorceas ( Creller ) Kingsley.
By the time the 1901 census was recorded we have returned to the name Gauthier
In 1911 we find Dorcus a widow living with in Bedford Quebec
