From the book A History of Czech's in Nebraska
"During the summer and fall of 1870 Verdigre valley was a waste. The only Czech settlers there were Joseph Mlady and John Tikalsky. Later the Following Settled There: . . . Vaclav Dusek, Bozetice, Tabor."
I found a note that says the Dusek's immigrated before 1875 and came to Nebraska in 1886. (This can't be correct because Barbara married in NE 1875 and there are Dusek's on the 1880 NE census.)

Sucup, Barbara, white, female, 30, wife, married, keeping house, born Austria, father born Austria, mother born Austria. (This is Barbara Dusek Sukup.)
(Austria is listed as birthplace because Bohemia at the time was controlled by Austria.)
On the 1880 Nebraska Census, Page 10 it lists a Vasluv Dusek in Knox County. There is also an Anna Dusek listed on this census. Neither is listed as married and both were born 1853/54. Probably twin siblings.

So this Frank was living there in 1886. Probably since his birth.
In the 1920 Atlas of Knox Co.NE it lists PO Verdigre 160 acres sec 30, 80 acres sec 29 owned by Anton Dusek.
I have a Frank Dusek who Died Aft 1920 Knox County, NE (father or son??)
