Walter Maddox
c.1700 ~ c.1792

Walter Maddox was apparently the youngest son of Cornelius.  I do not know anything about him except that in the "Proceedings of the County Courts of Charles County, Vol. 72, Pg. 305 is the following statement (listed in the book as pg. 166): "The Auditor is requested to issue a Certificate for the Depreciation of pay to Walter Maddox late of the seventh Maryland Regiment and deliver the same to the Treasurer of the western shore  who is ordered to pay it to Ignatius Luckett and Mary Luckett Administrator and Administratrix of the said Walter Maddox."      I believe he married Eleanor Luckett.  The above looks like his administrators were perhaps a nephew and niece.  Did he never have any children?  It would be interesting to see a copy of the will.       This will could possibly belong to a son of Benjamin.  Ben's son, Walter, supposedly died in 1773 which would make him 33 years old.  I wonder if the two wills have been interchanged with these two Walters.
