The List below is an introduction to the proposed provision of the complete Marriage information of each of those,so numbered from 1 to 180, including any and every birth detail of children from such Marriages, as.
These Records were initially entered into the Automated Family History Information System,purchased from the LDS Church, and known as the "Personal Ancestral File" and the explanation as to the various codes,symbols or part-entries is as follows:-
* MRIN = Marriage Record Identification Number. Every marriage
was automatically allocated a number when registered.
** 230 & 303 = Record Identification Number. Every individual
registered automatically received a new number.
*** The Dublin,"Joyce House", Registrar Office has a record of
the surname of every spouse/female of each marriage. This
enables the researcher to find the name of each and every
married female member of his/her Family Group,especially
when the name of husband was not previously known. I have
the Volume and Page Numbers of these registered marriages
and the name of the husband can then be found out when a
copy of the entry,or Certificate,has been purchased.
The above also applies when you only have the husband's name.
**** The "Joyce House" Registers for these entries actually shows
the quarterly periods,such as,Jan/Mar1899 or Oct/Dec1903 as
when the marriage took place,with no specific date or month
being shown, and so I then decided to follow the recommended
and standard practice of recording the midway point,in each
instance,and showed as being Abt Feb 1899 & Abt Nov 1903.
***** This type of entry is the result of Parish Records,or other
such locations,simply not showing the actual day/date when
the marriage took place,and this could be entirely due to a
Priest,or Clerk,entering each of these events at the end of
each month,or the following month,and not sure of true date.
****** This one is entirely of my own making as I have attempted
to provide a plausible year of such marriage,based solely
on the fact that I do not have a record of the marriage,nor
any other records prior to the birth of their first known
child,and have decided to provide some time reference,or a
known fact,in order to contain the search within a shorter
time span,such as one year prior to the first known birth.

However,during research of other records,it has been
found that locations for some births and deaths were
shown to be somewhere else other than where any such
event was recorded e.g. MRIN 7.2 - Birth in New York.
The only other Port Lincoln found in the Britannica
Encyclopaedia Volume Map and the Readers Digest Map
is located in South Australia but as the Marriage is
for June 1775 it would have meant that Thady & Mary
arrived in Australia well before James Cook in 1788.

These CAHERLY Marriages have been retained due to the fact
that the maiden name of my Gt.Grandmother was Ann CAHERLY
and as the CAHERLY name is also rare in Ireland then it is
highly probable that the following Marriages,from the same
area where my Gt.Grandparents lived,could be her relations.
The other factor worth considering is that a number of the
spouses also have surnames which have been found to be the
same as some of those found in Mahady inter-marriages,which
could be indicative of a further direct connection between
some of these CAHERLYS and my William & Ann (Caherly) MAHADY.
During my 1995 visit to Longford Town,and whilst carrying out
Research at the Longford National Library,I was searching for
some records pertaining to the Mahadys and whilst enquiring at
the information desk I was directed to the Senior Librarian,a
lady whose name turned out to be Kathleen Caherly,and she was
most helpful,even though she was not able to provide any form
of connection between our Mahadys and Caherlys,as at that time.
She has sent me a number of pages about some of the Caherlys,in
Killoe,and these are available should anyone wish to have a look.
