IRL>NY>PA Researching the Mahady family of Ireland. This family was in New York in the early 1830s, in Schuylkill or Luzerne County, Pennsylvania in the 1840's and in Philadelphia by 1850. Family names are Mary McCarty Mahady who was widowed by 1850, and her children: Michael Mahady, Elizabeth Mahady Carrigan, and my gggrandmother, Margaret R. Mahady Jones.
