They were the parents of Louisa THORN who married Winthrop Hilton SHAW of Northwood, NH. Louisa raised six children at Bridgton, Maine--five of them reportedly fathered by Shaw. Her husband was absent much of the children's early life, in the Civil War, and after the war he departed for various reasons and married twice after leaving Louisa, but no more children are recorded.

The Cram family came to Cornish and Baldwin from Wells, Maine, and Hampton, NH.
