13.14.2.2 Charles "Frank" Harrison, was born on 13 July 1872 in Texas Township and died in 1942. Below is an abstract of his obituary dated 26 February 1942:

13.14.2.2.1 Vernon W. Harrison was born in 1913 and died in 1999 (his obituary). He is buried in Schoolcraft Cemetery. Vernon was a Veteran of WW II and worked for the Upjohn Company for 34 years. Vernon and his wife Leota celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in June 1989.13.14.2.2.2 Vera B. Harrison, was born in 1907 and died in 1932 from epilepsy at age 24 years, 6 months. Vera is buried on the family plot in Schoolcraft Cemetery.

13.14.2.2.3 Margaret Louise Harrison was born on 3 August 1922 in Schoolcraft, Michigan. She is the Mrs. Abraham "Duffeld" [sic, his name was Abraham Dubbeld] listed in her father's obituary, they were married in 1940, however, the marriage lasted for a only a short time. Margaret died in September 1969 in a hit and run accident while riding a bicycle in Schoolcraft Township.Her obituary below submitted by Jan Getz, from the Kalamazoo Gazette dated 25 September 1969:
"HARRISON, Miss Margaret L.

SchoolcraftAge 47, passed away suddenly at Bronson Hospital, Friday evening. Miss Harrison was born August 3, 1922 in Schoolcraft, daughter of Frank and Ida Graber Harrison and had lived in Schoolcraft all of her life. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church of Schoolcraft. Surviving are: one brother Vernon Harrison of Kalamazoo; one sister, Mrs. Thelma Mouw of Waukegan, Illinois; nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Robertson Funeral Home, after 7 p.m. this evening where services will be held Monday at 2 p.m., Rev. Robert Monroe officiating. Burial in Schoolcraft Cemetery."
13.14.2.2.4 Thelma Charlotte Harrison, married 1st (Unknown) English, married 2nd Melbourne Mouw in 1948 (they later divorced in 1957). She was born in 1924 in Kalamazoo County, Michigan and died on 11 November 1990, at the American International Hospital, in Zion, Lake County, Illinois. Her obituary appeared in the News-Sun on 13 November 1990:MOUWThelma is also buried on the family plot in Schoolcraft Cemetery."Thelma C. Mouw, 66, of Zion, Illinois died November 11, at American International Hospital in Zion.
She was born August 8, 1924 in Schoolcraft, Michigan and attended the Waukegan Church of God. She worked as a nurses aide in private homes and also at American International Hospital. She was also a member of the A.A.R.P.
She is survived by two children, Alice Mouw of Zion; and John (Gloria) Mouw, of Dade, Florida; 2 grandchildren, John Jr. and Heather; and a brother Vernon (Leoda) [sic, Leota] Harrison, of Portage, Michigan. She was preceeded in death by her mother and father and 2 sisters.
Graveside services will be held at the Schoolcraft Cemetery, Schoolcraft, Michigan, on Wednesday, November 14, 1990. There will be no visitation. THE CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion is serving the family."
Melborne "Mel" Henry Mouw was born on November 4, 1910 in Holland, Michigan, the son of Henry and Grace (DeWeerd) Mouw and died at age 89, on Friday, October 27, 2000. He worked at the Orin B. Hayes Oldsmobile dealership in sales and service for 31 years. Mel was a decorated Veteran of WW II, assigned to the 540th Engineers, serving with both the Third and Seventh Armies. He was awarded 7 Bronze Stars, and 1 Bronze Arrowhead. He served in Africa, Algeria-French Morocco, Sicily, Naples, Foggia Rome, Southern France, Rhineland and Central Europe as well as Anzio Beach. He was a member of the American Legion Post 475 and a lifetime member of the VFW. He was survived by his daughter Alice of Zion, Illinois, sons John of Dade City, Florida and Michael of Galesburg. Mel was buried in Mt. Everest Cemetery with full military graveside honors provided by American Legion Post 475 (an abbreviated transcription of his obituary from the Kalamazoo Gazette, contributed by Marie Mackey).

“Passed away August 26, 1982. Mrs. Nelson was born July 29, 1884 [the 1900 census shows her birth in 1883] daughter of William and Margaret Harrison and great-granddaughter of Judge Bazel Harrison, the first white settler and judge of Kalamazoo County. Mrs. Nelson was a life member of the Schoolcraft Presbyterian Church, the Ladies library Assoc., the Lotus Lily United No. 262 OES of Vicksburg. Other organizations include the Schoolcraft Garden Club, Schoolcraft Historical Society, and Kalamazoo Assoc. of Retired School Personnel. She earned a teaching certificate at Western State Teachers College and taught for 31 years, 25 of those in Schoolcraft Public Schools. She is survived by a son Ward Nesbitt; one daughter Theo Hamilton, both of Kalamazoo; 5 grandchildren, Nellie Harrington, Kenneth and Thomas Nesbitt, all of Kalamazoo, Lynn Overacker of Paw Paw, Judy Rossow of Niles; 6 great-grandchildren, Kelly and Mark Harrington, Kristiana Overacker, Thomas Nesbitt Jr., J.W. and Anita Rossow; several step grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. There will be private graveside services 1:30 Saturday at the Schoolcraft Cemetery, followed by a memorial service 2 p.m. at the Schoolcraft Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Kurt Stiansen officiating. Pallbearers will be former students. Visitation will be this evening from 7 to 9 at the Robertson-Avink Chapel, Schoolcraft.
