13.14.3.2 Claude D. Wooley, was born in December 1874 and died in 1949.  In the 1900 Federal census of Elba Township, Gratiot County, Michigan, ED# 47, sheet 19B, Claude was married to his wife Eda, and living on his own near his parents.  Claude and Eda stated that they had been married for 3 years, which makes the year of their marriage about 1897.  His occupation in 1900 was listed a farmer.  He was age 45 in the 1920 Federal Census of Elba Township, Gratiot County, living with his wife Eda, age 42.  Occupation shown as a "retail merchant", "grocery store".  Eda was listed as a "clerk" "grocery store".  Eda A. (unknown) was born in 1877 and died in 1963.  They are both buried in Riverside Cemetery, just outside of Elsie, Clinton County, Michigan.

13.14.3.3 Pearl Cora Wooley, was born in 1881 (from her cemetery marker, in the 1900 census she gave her date of birth as April 1882) and married Pearl A. Mead.  Pearl A. Mead was born in 1879.  In the 1910 Federal Census of Elba Township, Gratiot County, Michigan, ED# 66, sheet 19A, "Cora P.", age 29 and her husband Pearl, age 31, along with their daughter Rita L., age 7, were living with her mother and father in household #374.  Pearl and Cora both stated that they had been married for ten years, making their date of marriage in about 1900.  Cora also stated that she had bore one child.  In the 1920 Federal Census of Elba Township, Gratiot County, Michigan, his name and age are unreadable, her name is shown as "Pearl Cora", age 38 [difficult to read].  Her mother, Martha is also living with the family, as well as a female Wooley listed as a "cousin", whose first name unreadable.  Pearl A., age 50, occupation farmer, and Pearl C., age 48, were both still listed living in Elba Township, Gratiot County, ED# 9, sheet 8B, household #190 of 202, enumerated on 23 April, by their daughter, Rita L. (Mead) Cox.  Also living in the Mead household in 1930, was Gene Pervis, a male, age 10, relationship listed as a "Ward", born in Michigan, both his parents were also born in Michigan.  Pearl and Pearl (this must have been confusing and was probably why she went by her middle name) are also buried in Riverside Cemetery, just outside Elsie, Michigan.  Pearl A. died in 1963 and Pearl Cora died in 1967.  They had one daughter:
13.14.3.3.1 Rita L. Mead, born in 1903 and died in 1967.  Rita, is shown living with her parents in the 1910 Federal Census, listed above, and must have been living outside of the home in 1920.  Rita married Carl C. Cox, son of Judd and Myrtle Cox, he was listed as their son in the 1920 Federal Census of Elba Township.  Carl was born in 1899 and died in 1980.  The 1930 Federal Census of Elba Township, ED# 9, sheet 7A, enumerated on 20 April, by herself, Rita L. Cox, she listed their household as: Rita L., age 26, married at age 22, occupation listed as "Enumerator Census"; Carl C., age 30, married at age 26, occupation "retail merchant radio"; daughters, Carlita M., age 3 years and 7 months and Paula P., age 1 year and 4 months.  Rita L. and Carl C. Cox are both buried next to her parents in Riverside Cemetery.
