13.1.2.2.1.6 Beatrice Crowell, was born in about 1917 in Michigan.

Cora Harrison Weaver in 1886 at Valparaiso, Indiana, photo contributed by Chris Sheridan.

13.1.2.3 Cora Harrison, was born in 1859 in Kalamazoo County, Michigan.  Cora married her cousin, Orlow Weaver, the son of (13.1.3/15.6.1) Bathsheba (Harrison) Weaver (see previous page linked at the top of the page).

In the 1880 Federal Census of Brady Township, Orlow, age 25, born in Michigan, and Cora, age 21, were living next door to Jeremiah and Betsy Harrison, her parents, with no children.

In the 1900 Federal Census of Battle Creek City, Ward 4, Calhoun County, ED# 36, Cora and Orlow were living alone with no children, at 15 Sanderson St., Orlow gave his date of birth as October 1854, and Cora listed her birth as December 1859.  They both stated that they had been married 23 years (which would make their date of marriage in about 1877).  Cora stated that she was the mother of 1 living child.  Orlow listed his occupation as a "Teamster".

In the 1910 Federal Census of Galesburg, Kalamazoo County, ED# 124 (Allie and George both stated that they had been married for 4 years; Allie stated that she had given birth to no children; Orlow and Cora both stated that they had been married for 32 years; Cora stated that she had given birth to 1 living child):

                 Cora           Mother-in-Law     f    50  M1     Michigan    None

From the Ross Coller Battle Creek Collection, located by Marie Mackey (continued from Orlow's info below):

"Jan 12 1915, his [Orlow] widow dies suddenly at Galesburg."  (Ross Coller, BC fiche # 124)
Orlow and Cora are both buried in Roof Cemetery in Charleston Township, Kalamazoo County.  From the Tombstone Inscriptions of Kalamazoo County, page 302, KVGS, 1980:
  WEAVER
              ORLON     1854 - 1912
              CORA       1859 - 1915
I have not located George and Allie B. (Weaver) Reed in the 1920 census.  In the 1930 Federal Census of Battle Creek Township, Lakeview District, ED# 34, Allie B. Reed, was widowed, age 47, living alone with her son, George R. Reed, age 8, born in Michigan.

13.1.2.4 Mary E. Harrison, was born in 1863 in Kalamazoo County, Michigan, married William Wallace Peckham in 1879, in Kalamazoo County, #3891, Book 4, page 252, and died in 1884 (see her mother's obituary).  In the 1880 Federal Census, Wallace, age 21, and Mary, age 18 were living in Battle Creek, Calhoun County, with no children.

However, I believe but haven't proven, that she did give birth to a son.  In the 1900 Federal Census of Augusta Township, Butler County, Kansas, ED# 1, sheet 2B, his household listed (Wallace and Flora both stated that they had been married for 14 years; Flora stated that she had given birth to 2 living children):

#40  43  Peckham, Wallace  Head  Oct 1858  41  Michigan New York  Michigan  Dry goods merchant
Flora  Wife   Jan 1862  38  Indiana  Ohio  Kentucky
Roy  Son    Dec 1883  16  Michigan  Michigan  Michigan  Michigan  At school
Beatrice  Daughter  Jan  1894    6  Kansas    Michigan  Indiana
Amy  Daughter  May  1895    4  Kansas    Michigan  Michigan

The 1900 census data indicates that it is possible that Mary (Harrison) Peckham did have a son, Roy Peckham, born in December 1883 in Michigan (his name may have been Leroy Peckham).

13.1.2.5 Martha Ann Harrison, was born in February 1868 in Kalamazoo County, Michigan and died in 1938.  She is buried in Roof Cemetery, in Kalamazoo County, Michigan.  Martha, age 12, was living with her parents in the 1880 Federal Census.

Martha Ann married John Shoup in 1889, in Kalamazoo County, #850, Book 5, page 125.  They were enumerated in Charleston Township, Kalamazoo County, Michigan, ED# 105, sheet 10A in the 1900 Federal Census (John and Martha both stated that they had been married for 10 years; Martha stated that she had given birth to no children):

#165  168  Shoup, John  Head  Mar  1862  38  Ohio  Penn  Ohio       Farmer
Martha  Wife   Feb  1868  32  Mich  Ohio  New York
Martha and John were listed in the 1910 Census of Charleston Township, Kalamazoo County, Michigan, ED# 124, sheet 3B.  He was age 47 and Martha was age 41, they both stated that they had been married for 20 years, the column for children was blank.

In the 1920 Federal Census they were living in Precinct Nine, Battle Creek City, Calhoun County, ED# 48, sheet 12B.  John listed his occupation as a city laborer, he was 58 and Martha was 52, street address listed as 421 West Van Buren Street.  In 1930 Martha was 62, widowed and living at the same address.  They had no children.
