Descendants of Joseph William Sager and Mary Foote:

(15.1.5.2) Rebecca Adelle Sager, born on 29 May 1855, Kalamazoo County, Michigan and died on 13 September 1946.  She married Joseph Woodward McCausey on 8 Feb 1883.  He was born on 16 July 1854 and died on 7 February 1933.  Rebecca taught school for 8 years and she retired in Detroit, Michigan (assisted with the family history).  Their children were:

(15.1.5.2.1) Elcy T. McCausey, born on 22 August 1884.  Graduated from Wellsley in 1909, taught in a business university one year; worked as the Office Secretary of the Y.M.C.A in Denver, Colorado for 3 years;  Chicago Y.M.C.A office 3 years;  private secretary to Ms. Coppock (the secretary of China Y.M.C.A. 3 years) then the secretary to Shanghai for 3 years (last note 1926).

(15.1.5.2.2) Thomas Jerome Woodward McCausey, born on 30 June 1886 and died on 22 May 1948.  He married Zena Zura Stage on 30 June 1908, she was born on 9 June 1885, in Topeka, Indiana.  Their children were:

(15.1.5.2.3) Mary Louise McCausey, was born on 27 September 1887 and  died on 5 October 1924.  She graduated from Wellesley in 1909, and taught school four years.  Attended University of Munich, in Germany for one year.  Captain of investigating team for the high cost of  living during World War I. Served as Y.M.C.A. secretary in Detroit for 4 years. Toured around the world in 1923 and 1924.

(15.1.5.3) Samuel Frederick Sager, was born on 16 February 1857, in Kalamazoo County, Michigan and died in August 1910.  He married Margaret Langley in July 1893,  Margaret was born in 1869 and  died on 6 June 1898.  Their children were:

(15.1.5.3.1) Maude Margaret Sager, was born on 8 September 1894.  She married (1st) John Adams on 10 October 1910, John was born on 9 June 1889 and died on 12 March 1912.  Their daughter was:

(15.1.5.3.1.1) Mary Elizabeth Adams, was born on 8 September 1911 and married (1st) Roy Williams on 4 November 1928, they divorced in January 1940.  Mary married (2nd) Joseph Downes on 2 April 1942, they divorced in November 1951.  Mary married (3rd) William Haney.

Maude married (2nd) Charles P. Mountz on 10 September 1923, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.  Charles Mountz was born on 11 December 1888 and died on 9 June 1948.  Their son was:

(15.1.5.3.1.2) John Daniel Mountz.

(15.1.5.4) Joseph Adelbert Sager, was born on 26 May 1858, in Kalamazoo County, Michigan and died on December 1931, in Craik, Saskatchewan.  He married Anna Magdalena Scheelhaase on 30 September 1897, in Woodbury County, Iowa.  She was born on on 4 August 1873 and died on 9 June 1940.  Joseph Adelbert settled in Harrisonville, and followed in many of the family settlements in Backus, Minnesota, Gordon, Nebraska and into Saskatchewan and finally British Columbia.  He was close to his uncle, Eli Sager's family as well as the descendants of Alexander Harrison I.  He wandered for many years, and he ended up with two farms, one in Saskatchewan and another in Alberta.  Their children were:

 (15.1.5.4.1) Eva Marie Sager, was born 16 August 1898 and died on 27 May 1937, in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada.  She married Dr. Adam Gibson on 25 September 1931, in Craik, Saskatchewan.  Dr. Adam Gibson died on 26 June 1935 in Craik, Saskatchewan.  Eva was a teacher and Adam served as doctor in Aylesbury and the Craik, Saskatchewan area.  He died in an automobile accident.  Their children were:

(15.1.5.4.1.1) Elizabeth Sharpe Gibson, was born and died on 26 December 1935, in Craik, Saskatchewan, Canada.

(15.1.5.4.2) Joseph Diedrich Sager, was born on 30 September 1899 and died in 1957 in Canada, he never married.

(15.1.5.4.3) Elcy Agnes Ford Sager, was born on 29 November 1902, in Banner Township, Woodbury County, Iowa and died in July 1998 in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.  She married (15.1.14.2.4.1)/(15.8.5.2.4.1) Lester Lawrence Ford on 3 November 1928, in Woodbury County, Iowa.  Lester was born on 6 June 1899, in Banner Township, Woodbury County, Iowa and died on 14 May 1936, in Woodbury County, Iowa.  He is buried in Arlington Cemetery in Moville, Iowa.  Elcy was a school teacher, Lester was the great grandson of Eli Sager and Edna Ann Harrison Sager.  Their children were:

(15.1.5.4.3.1)/(15.1.14.2.4.1.1)/(15.8.5.2.4.1.1) Berniece Ann Ford, was born on 17 May 1931.  She married Herbert Franklin Francis on 4 October 1951 (they were divorced) and she later remarried Eric Jonhston in November 1987.  Herbert was born on 6 November 1928.  Her children were:

Berniece also had two children by Robert Allen Dyck:

(15.1.5.4.4) Edna Katherine Sager, was born on 7 July 1904, in Banner Township,Woodbury County, Iowa and married Russell Adams (they were of Canada) on 13 Oct 1926.  They ran the post office in Kenaston, Saskatchewan, Canada.  Their children was:

(15.1.5.4.4.1) Wynona Marie Adams, was born on 27 July 1929 and married Ronald Clare Hamre on 4 August 1947.  Their children were:

(15.1.5.4.5) John Alford Sager, was born on 14 April 1908 and died on 17 December 1945.  He married Mona Lisa Mathers on 4 July 1943.  Their son was:
