Bazel Harrison land patents

These four land patents were filed at the Land Office in White Pigeon, Michigan by Bazel Harrison.  The first was issued on 4 June 1833, three others were issued on 15 August 1833.  Also on file at the Western Michigan University Regional Archives, in Kalamazoo, Michigan is one of the original certificates issued to his son Nathan Harrison.  The certificate was issued on heavy parchment, with a wax seal attached.  Additional original land patents can be viewed from several states at http://www.glorecords.blm.gov/ where the United States Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management maintains a searchable database.  These images were submitted by Mike and Kim Wolbers.
