"Former McComb Resident Becomes Bride of Mattimore Meyer, of Meridian, Miss.
The single ring ceremony was solemnized in the morning at ten o'clock at the home of the bride's parents, with Dr. W.E. Green of Newton, president of Clarke College, [Newton, MS] officiating, in the presence of immediate families.
Ferns with lovely flowers of the season decorated the home.
The bride was very attractive in a beige suit with black bead trim, black accessories and a brown orchid corsage.
Mrs. Meyer is a graduate of the Meridian High school and received her nurse's training at the Southern Baptist Hospital in New Orleans, La., and the Meridian Sanitarium.
Mr. Meyer was graduated from the Gulf Coast Military Academy in Gulfport and attended the University of Alabama. He is at present a special agent for the National Casualty Insurance Company.
After a wedding trip to the Gulf Coast, Mr. and Mrs. Meyer are at home at 1934 25th avenue, Meridian.
The Diamond family at one time resided in McComb."
