On September 12, 1918, Harry registered for Selective Service.  At that time he and Emma were residing at 450 4th Avenue West in Twin Falls, Idaho.  Harry was self-employed, occupation "transfer", his place of business also located in Twin Falls.  The registrar described his physical appearance thusly: tall, stout build, grey eyes and grey hair.

Emma apparently died after March 27, 1923 (the date of Emeline's death) and before 1930, probably in or near Twin Falls, Idaho.  Harry remarried about 1929.
