Thurman Clark Campbell, son of John Campbell and Agnes Isabell Mort was born July 16, 1888, in Hancock Township, Hancock County, Illinois.

On November 16, 1912, he married Olive Mae Cordell at Carthage, Hancock County, Illinois.

Ollie, daughter of Harvey Russell Cordell and Sarah E. Brown, was born August 20, 1894, in McDonough County, Illinois.

Thurman and Ollie both died in Macomb, McDonough County, he on July 4, 1960, and Ollie the following summer, on September 10, 1961.  They were buried at Mount Auburn Cemetery, Colchester, McDonough County.  Thurman's obituary   Ollie's obituary

Their children were:

i. Delbert C. Campbell, born May 21, 1913, died December 18, 2004; buried next to his parents at Mount Auburn Cemetery.
 
ii. Leota Campbell, born March 13, 1915, died June 3, 1917.  She was buried at Majorville Cemetery, Hancock Township, Hancock County, Illinois.
 
iii. Gerald R. Campbell, born August 10, 1924, died August 7, 2002.  He was buried at Glade City Cemetery, Blandinsville, McDonough County, Illinois.
