| Ida M. Alton was born in Fountain Green Township, Hancock County, Illinois about November 1855. She was the daughter of She married Homer Vincent on December 27, 1877, in Hancock County, at "Father's Residence", presumably Ida's father. Homer, born about June 1852 in Illinois, was the son of Jerry and Perthena Vincent, originally from New York and Ohio, respectively.
