The above references offer two spellings for the family's surname (Bulloch or Bullock), two locations for William Bullock's place of birth (Kirkintilloch, Scotland or Glasgow, Scotland), a location for his christening (Campsie, Stirling, Scotland), either 1818 or 1820 for the year the Bullock family arrived in Canada, and either 1842 or 1843 for the year the family took up residence in Fountain Green Township.

This resource, 1820-1822 Settlers of Lanark County, Ontario, lists Thomas Bullock in Lanark township on September 30, 1820.
