SOUVENIR and Historical Sketch Of The
MAJORVILLE CHURCH
compiled by Fay Day circa 1935

This jimdandy little booklet contains a plethora of information regarding the founder, ministers and supporters.

From a clipping found in the Mae Peck Conn scrapbook donated to the Hancock County Historical Society by Marilyn Shelley: "The Majorville Church, located 14 miles northeast of Carthage, has a church history, recently published, edited by Fay Day, a junior at Fountain Green high school.  The booklet is of rare historic value, as well as a valuable keepsake for friends of the church.  They are being sold by the Majorville Social Club with the proceeds from the sale going to aid the church."   Photo at left shared by Dorothy Eddington Dunham.

This copy of the booklet belonged to Doris Pogue; the handwritten notes you'll see are hers.
