| It is fortunate that this marker was read in the 1960's because it has significantly deteriorated. The inscription was deciphered as: Son of G. and S. Callahan Died October 04, 1871 Aged 20Y 10M 8D Evidence suggests, however, that David was the son of  Charles and Susannah (Fass) Callihan, whose surname was most frequently spelled Callahan. This marker is next to the marker for Susannah Fass Callihan. |
