NICHOLSON GALLERY
This page is dedicated to Vernice Twofoot Nicholson who passed away, Feb 26, 1985. Everyone meets a person that leaves a lasting impression on their souls. Grandma Nicholson was that person. I met her early in 1966 when I started to date my life's mate. She taught me to love the simple things in life and taught me the foundation of a lasting relationship. Although her life was hard, she always found time for the waifs and strays that came her way. If any words could describe her way of life, I think this poem sums it up beautifully.
"I expect to pass through this world but once.
If therefore, there be any kindness I can show
Or any good thing I can do, let me do it now
Let me not defer or neglect it
For I shall not pass this way again."
