Welcome! This site is dedicated to the immigrant family of Peter McDougall and Catherine Campbell, and their many descendants. Peter and Catherine left Perthshire, Scotland in 1815 and settled in what is now Glengarry County, Ontario. At least four of their Canada-born sons eventually moved to Minnesota, and one of those pioneers—Donald McDougall of Bellevue Township in Morrison County—as my great great grandfather. To learn more about these McDougall families, you can read the chronology that is outlined on the left of this page (or click on the walking man below). You will also find related reference materials listed on the left...obituaries, photos, a family tree, etc. Hopefully, this list will grow with time.
