1865 NEW YORK CENSUS
CANISTEO -- STEUBEN COUNTY
In May of 2006, I went to the Steuben County Clerk's Office in Bath, New York and photographed the 1865 New York State Census Records for the Town of Canisteo. Below are the photo numbers with links to each photo taken. All photos have been saved for web use (at a compressed size) and in black and white. If you would like the original photograph with no edits please email me at [email protected] and I will forward the page you need. Please do not ask me to send all photos for the town as they are large files and will take time to upload and download. As of yet I have not transcribed the records therefore, you will have to browse through the photos as if you were browsing through the Census Books in the Clerk's Office. I have just saved you the drive to Bath.
