BALTIMORE, Ohio – Nell K. Addison, age 79, died Monday, Feb. 26, 2007, at Rockmill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born Jan. 31, 1928, in Russell County, a daughter of the late Silas and Hattie Kiser, she was the wife of the late Howard Addison. She was former president of Cross Country Club of Baltimore.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Glenn, Judson, Carlton and Kermit Kiser.
Survivors include daughter, Rhonda (Glynn) Thompson, Baltimore; three sons, John Addison and wife Linda, Baltimore, Jerry Addison and wife Pat Tripp-Addison, Golden, Colo., and James Thomas Addison and wife Brenda, Baltimore; eight grandchildren, Aaron Jenkins and wife Nicole, Jody Thompson, Dylan Thompson and wife Heather, Kelley Kohler and husband Jim, Leann Dunn and husband William, Matthew Addison, Megan Tripp-Addison and Kaitlin Tripp-Addison; 10 great-grandchildren; six sisters, Katherine Brown, Bluefield, Va., Mary Clark and husband Carl, Bristol Tennessee, Ruth Johnson, Castlewood, Nancy Stallard, Pocahontas, Va., Jane Fuller, Bristol Virginia, and Stella Dotson, Abingdon; three brothers, Paul Kiser and wife Jenny, Cleveland, Va., Ralph Kiser and wife Sue, Honaker and Kyle Kiser and wife Ruth, Castlewood; also many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2007, in the Combs Funeral Service Chapel, with the Rev. Travis Shortt officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 until 3 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
