George WILSON [Parents] was born about 1690. He died 1753 in Chesterfield, VA. George married Elizabeth.
George WIlson is obviously a man of substance. He's referred to as "gentleman" in Bristol Parrish records. He was a member of the Vestry and Chruch warden. He had land in Chesterfield and Prince Geo Counties. George Wilson received a grant of 600 ac in what was then Prince Geo Co, now Amelia on both sides of Smack Creek. This land still belonged to a descendant, Joseph Dunn in 1907.3 George Wilson left a will in 1753. Heirs: daughters Frances Vaden, Judah Patram and Phebe Rowlett; granddaughter Eliza Patram; sons George and Daniel; grandsons George Rowlett, George Patram, Gardner Vaden, Daniel Vaden, John son of George; executors sons George and Daniel; no wife mentioned; son Gardner not mentioned...he possibly died young.
