Attached is a picture of James Marker's wife, Amelia Neff, from York, Pa.  She was born in 1810, died in 1881. James Marker was born in 1808 and died in 1883. He is buried in Sharpsburg, Md. James and Amelia Marker were the parents of Elizabeth my great grandmother, born in 1839 and died in 1907.  Elizabeth married Jacob F. Eavey, born in 1831 and died in 1907. They were the parents of John Wesley Eavey, my grandfather. They all lived in Sharpsburg. My grandfather had two Marker rifles hanging over a doorway in his home in Sharpsburg. He passed away in 1962 and my uncle in Florida has those two rifles today. The Marker name is still being passed down, One of my grandson's middle name is Marker and a cousin in Hagerstown, Md just had a grandson and his middle name is also Marker.
