COOK SCHOOL RECORDS

Cook School, 1905, this article was printed in the Daily Herald on page 18, May 22, 1974. "Isn't it great to have a newspaper in Columbia who will print local history articles as the one above." This school is a very old one. It was in existence in 1843 when Robert M. Cooke was the teacher. This information  is included the school Census published by the Maury Co. Historical Society in 1969 and included on this site. Early Maury County Teacher & Pupil Records (WA-9/23/2002).
