Both Clinton E. ROSS and Rosa Ann RIGSBEY were listed as being from Chesterfield, (Macoupin Co.) Illinois and being married on October 04, 1911 in Springfield, (Sangamon Co.) Illinois.
C. H. JENKINS was the Probate Judge who performed the wedding. This marriage certificate was witnessed by an Andrew REID (?) and a Richard SCHRYNER. Ironically, it was rescued from Yard Sale in Southern Indiana by another REID (Mr. Alfred C. REID of Louisville, Kentucky) who bought it to me to find a descendent of this couple.

I had posted a message about this marriage license on the Clark County, Indiana "Message Board" at Kentuckiana Genealogy and was contacted by Karen RIGSBEY Karl who was able to provide detailed information about this couple. These 2 people are her 1st cousins, twice removed. She sent me this photo of their tombstone (shown below), as well as a thorough genealogy report. This marriage certificate has been mailed to:
